Bassist Todd Beal is a Program Executive with IBM by day, and multi-faceted bass player by night. In addition to frequent free-lance jazz appearances, Todd is also a regular performer in the bass section of the Greenville Symphony.
Guitarist Matt Dingledine is an instructor of guitar, bass, mandolin and banjo at WatsonWood Music in Greenville; he also teaches guitar in the Fine Arts Center’s Explore the Arts program. Himself a graduate of the FAC, Matt earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Studio Music and Jazz Performance form the University of Miami. Percussionist Duane Malphrus is well-known to jazz fans in the Greenville area, having performed with numerous local groups. He is renowned for his playing and for his relentless onstage jokes. By day, Duane is Postmaster in Clemson, SC.
Pianist Jon Grier is instructor of Music Theory and History and Composer-in-Residence at the Greenville Fine Arts Center. He has many published compositions and arrangements to his credit, and several are performed by Edgewise.
