Silent Singularity (2009, rev. 2015)

This is my tribute to guitarist Tim Haden, with whom I played for many years in Oracle and who succumbed to cancer in 2008. In it I have combined elements of Tim’s Oracle composition Seven - itself a tribute to the Challenger space shuttle astronauts tragically killed upon launch in 1986 - and some new material. The groove is a mid-tempo quasi-latin, rather like Seven. It assumes piano/bass/drums with a melody instrument; it also assumes that the piano can play some lines on a synth. $15 for score, parts, demo; order here.
